This striking piece of heart shaped Fordite, length 3cm and width 1.6cm, has been handset on a textured, recycled sterling silver tear drop shape.
I have hand sawn an opening at the back of the pendant and opening has been sympathetically shaped to reflect the distinctive pattern on the underside of the fordite stone. The pendant hangs from an 18 inch (45cm) snake chain.
About Fordite - Fordite stones are a by-product of the historical process of spray painting cars. Paint that has accumulated on walls is upcycled to produce unique and stunning pieces.
